Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

• Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport where your guide will greet you.

• Transfer to your hotel in Arusha for check-in.

• Depending on arrival time, enjoy a light city orientation or relax at leisure.

• Dinner and overnight in Arusha.

Day 2: Arusha City & Local Markets

• After breakfast, explore Arusha with your guide.

• Visit bustling local markets, try tropical fruits, and shop artisan crafts.

• Stop at the Tanzanite Experience Museum to learn about Tanzania’s rare gemstone.

• Lunch at a local restaurant or lodge.

• Afternoon leisure, then dinner and overnight in Arusha.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park

• Early breakfast before a 2–3 hour drive to Tarangire.

• Full-day safari spotting elephants, giraffes, wildebeest, and predators.

• Picnic lunch inside the park.

• Evening transfer to lodge/camp near Tarangire.

• Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Lake Manyara National Park

• After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara.

• Safari through lush forests, open savannah, and the lakeshore.

• Look for flamingos, tree-climbing lions, and hippos wallowing in the waters.

• Picnic lunch in the park.

• Overnight at lodge/camp in Karatu or Manyara area.

Day 5: Serengeti (Central)

• Morning departure through Ngorongoro Highlands into Serengeti.

• Stop at crater rim viewpoint for breathtaking photos.

• Game drive en route across the Serengeti plains.

• Arrive at lodge/camp in Central Serengeti by afternoon.

• Dinner and overnight in Serengeti.

Day 6: Serengeti Full-Day Game Drive

• Wake up at sunrise for a full-day safari with picnic lunch.

• Explore Central Serengeti’s wildlife-rich areas — lions, cheetahs, elephants, and endless wildebeest herds.

• Return to camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Serengeti (North or South – Seasonal)

• After breakfast, head to Northern Serengeti (July–October for river crossings) or Southern Serengeti (December–March for calving season).

• Picnic lunch in the bush while tracking the migration.

• Evening sundowners before returning to lodge/camp.

• Dinner and overnight in Serengeti.

Day 8: Serengeti → Ngorongoro

• Sunrise game drive in Serengeti to spot predators at their most active.

• Return for breakfast, then begin transfer toward Ngorongoro.

• Picnic lunch en route.

• Arrive at lodge on the crater rim in late afternoon.

• Dinner and overnight stay overlooking the crater.

Day 9: Ngorongoro Crater Safari

• Early breakfast, then descend into the crater for a full-day safari.

• Spot rhinos, lions, elephants, buffalo, and flamingos around Lake Magadi.

• Picnic lunch at the hippo pool area.

• Evening ascent and return to lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Hadzabe & Datoga Tribes + Maasai Cultural Tour

• Early breakfast, then drive to Lake Eyasi.

• Morning with the Hadzabe hunters — join them in a traditional hunt, learn fire-making, and gather with the community.

• Afternoon with the Datoga blacksmiths, seeing how they forge tools and jewelry.

• Later, visit a Maasai village to experience their way of life and traditions.

• Return to Arusha in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 11: Departure

• Breakfast at the lodge.

• Depending on flight schedule, optional short shopping stop or city walk.

• Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for departure.
