At Maisha Quest, we believe that every young person deserves a second chance, no matter where they come from or what challenges they face. Sadly, everywhere around the world, teenagers lose their way — some after the loss of their parents, others due to broken homes or difficult circumstances. Many end up living on the streets, vulnerable to crime and substance abuse.

Our Teenage Troubled Youth Program aims to change that story. We want to create a safe place where these young people can find stability, guidance, and purpose.

 

Through this initiative, we will:

• Provide a safe home – a place to live, eat, and sleep without fear, surrounded by care and respect.

• Offer skills training – partnering with various sectors such as mechanics, carpentry, tailoring, craft arts, hospitality, agriculture, and more, to give them practical skills that lead to employment or entrepreneurship.

• Sponsor education and mentorship – covering training costs, school fees, and providing ongoing support to help them succeed.

• Build self-worth – giving them a sense of purpose, belonging, and hope for the future.

 

Our vision is simple:
Get kids off the streets, keep them away from bad influences, and guide them toward becoming skilled, confident, and responsible members of society. By giving them tools, opportunities, and support, we give them the chance to build a better life for themselves — and, in turn, a better future for our communities.

At Maisha Quest, we know that transformation doesn’t happen overnight, but with compassion, structure, and opportunity, it is possible. Every child deserves the chance to dream, learn, and thrive. Together, we can make it happen.
