Talisa Tufts brings a rich blend of American, Russian, and Chinese heritage and is fluent in English, Swahili, Russian, and Mandarin Chinese. With years of experience in hospitality and tourism both within and outside Tanzania, Talisa first visited Tanzania in 2015 and officially relocated in 2018. Her diverse background and international exposure fuel her passion for breaking stereotypes, building bridges across cultures, and showcasing the real stories of Africa through meaningful, responsible travel.

Joining her is Frank Lyatuu, a proud son of Arusha whose journey into tourism is as inspiring as the landscapes of Tanzania itself. Frank completed his bachelor’s degree in Accounting at the University of MOKU in Moshi. While trained in finance, he discovered his true calling in tourism, where his natural talent for operations and hospitality could shine. Today, he brings invaluable expertise in creating seamless, unforgettable safari experiences for every client. Beyond logistics, Frank is known for his warmth, attention to detail, and unwavering commitment to making guests feel at home in the wild.

Completing the team is Tina Ngabo, a versatile professional in the hospitality and tourism industry. Born in Dar es Salaam, Tina completed her high school education in the United States before earning her bachelor’s degree and honours from Stellenbosch University in South Africa. With extensive experience both within and outside Tanzania, she brings a global perspective, strong professionalism, and a deep understanding of service excellence that strengthens the Maisha Quest vision.

Together, these passionate entrepreneurs embody the spirit of modern Tanzania. Frank and Tina, fluent in English and Swahili, share a strong commitment to community empowerment, meaningful travel, and creating opportunities that uplift local people. Combined with Talisa’s multicultural outlook, they form a dynamic team driven by purpose, integrity, and heart.
