Talisa April Tufts brings a rich blend of American, Russian, and Chinese heritage, speaking English, Russian, Chinese, and Swahili. Her diverse background fuels her passion for breaking stereotypes, building bridges across cultures, and showcasing the real stories of Africa.

Joining her is Frank Lyatuu, a proud son of Arusha whose journey into tourism is as inspiring as the landscapes of Tanzania itself. With a background in accounting, Frank discovered his true calling in tourism, where his natural talent for operations and hospitality could shine. Today, he brings invaluable expertise in creating seamless, unforgettable safari experiences for every client. Beyond logistics, Frank is known for his warmth, attention to detail, and his unwavering commitment to making guests feel at home in the wild.

The team is rounded out by Elvira Kihaka, who was born in Makambako and later made her way to Dar es Salaam before finally planting roots in Arusha to pursue her dream of working in the tourism industry. Elvira is a true example of perseverance and passion—her dedication to empowering communities and her natural gift for hospitality make her an integral part of the Maisha Quest family.

Together, these three young, passionate entrepreneurs embody the spirit of Tanzania. Frank and Elvira, fluent in English and Swahili, share a love for giving back to their communities, creating opportunities, and building brighter futures for fellow Tanzanians. Combined with Talisa’s multicultural outlook, they form a powerhouse of vision and heart.
