Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

  • Airport pickup and transfer to hotel.

  • Leisure evening or short city tour.

  • Dinner and overnight in Arusha.

 

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park

  • Early breakfast and drive to Lake Manyara (2 hrs).

  • Game drive exploring tree-climbing lions, flamingos, and hippos.

  • Picnic lunch inside the park.

  • Evening drive to lodge near Manyara/Ngorongoro highlands.

  • Dinner and overnight stay.

 

Day 3: Serengeti (Central)

  • After breakfast, depart for Serengeti via Ngorongoro.

  • Stop at crater rim for panoramic photos.

  • Game drive en route into Serengeti plains.

  • Arrive at lodge/camp in Central Serengeti.

  • Dinner and overnight.

 

Day 4: Serengeti Full-Day

  • Full-day safari with picnic lunch.

  • Follow the great migration route (depending on season).

  • Spot cheetahs, leopards, lions, elephants, and endless herds of wildebeest.

  • Return for dinner and overnight at lodge/camp.

 

Day 5: Serengeti (North or South – Seasonal)

  • Early wake-up and safari drive towards either Northern Serengeti (river crossings season) or Southern Serengeti (calving season).

  • Picnic lunch during the game drive.

  • Sunset drive and return to lodge/camp.

  • Dinner and overnight.

 

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater

  • Morning drive from Serengeti to Ngorongoro.

  • Descend into crater for a half-day safari.

  • Picnic lunch near Hippo Pool.

  • Overnight at lodge on crater rim.

 

Day 7: Departure

  • Breakfast and return to Arusha.

  • Depending on flight, short stop at cultural heritage center.

  • Airport transfer for departure.
